Introduction

I started as a parent helper for my son’s team in 2010 and continued to get more involved with the team and the club becoming a parent rep. I gained my level 1 in 2015 to help support the managerless youth team.
I was involved in bringing in younger players, setting up new teams and was successful in creating 2 teams, an U7 and U9. My U9’s are now U15 and I’m lucky to have a great supportive parent group along with a brilliant assistant.
We play in Central Lancashire league, sitting top of division 2 prior to a further pause in football, at the restart we continued with our form only losing 1 game. To keep the team active we entered the South Ribble Futsal league our first year of entry saw us top the league before the pandemic put a stop to all grassroots activities. We will be in the U15 Futsal league starting in September which is played on a Thursday evening.

Honors/Proudest achievement:
Our first full season together we made it to our first tournament final, knocking out a top division side to be Runners up in the U9 Sir Tom Finney tournament
19/20 season Top of league 2 and Futsal league which was cut short due to the pandemic.
As part of my committee role as Child welfare officer I maintain our clubs already high standards of putting our players overall welfare at the heart of what we do.
This made my job easy when it came to nominating the club for the 20/21 FA awards, successfully writing 3 separate nominations for our club and winning the youth team of the year!
